Google released Android Things 1.0 for IoT devices

Google's policy on Android Things with the world's most popular mobile operating system is now Android. When a new update is released, it will be sent to the OEM partner so they can add a custom class of their own before deploying the update to the device. Two years ago, Google mentioned Android Things and the test for developers reached more than 100,000 downloads. Google has received feedback from more than 10,000 programmers around the world, which can quickly supplement and adjust the operating system to meet user needs.

Android Things 1.0 supports the new SoM (System-on-Module) system, based on NXP i.MX8M, Qualcomm SDA212, Qualcomm SDA624 and MediaTek MT8516 hardware platforms.
