Google May Update Rollout Complete

So 15 days have passed since Google announced the 'May core algorithm update'. Today they have officially announced the completion of this update.

This morning, at 3:44 a.m. ET, Google took to their Twitter to confirm the completion of the rollout of the new update. Thus, the update took 15 days to roll out: from May 25 to June 9.

What's in the May Update?

Name: Google's May 2022 Broad Core Update

Launch: May 25, 2022 at approximately 11:30 p.m. ET

Completion: June 9, 2022

Objective: It considers all types of content

Penalties: This is not a penalty, it promotes or rewards great sites

Global: This is a global update that affects all regions, in all languages.

Impact: Unknown

Explore: Core updates affect Google Discover and other features, as well as trailers and more.

Recovery: If you've been affected by this, then you'll need to review your content and see if you can do better with Google's core update advice.

Updates: Google will periodically refresh this algorithm but may not announce such updates in the future. Maybe this is what we've seen in the past few weeks or all of those unconfirmed Google updates.

As many reviews from the tools, the May update is said to be fast, powerful, and tough.

Compared to the July and November 2021 updates, this update is much more impactful and faster.
