Google said Android One phones will run Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system when released with a commitment to receive updates to Android L.

After India, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia will be the next countries to deploy Android One platform. Big cell phone companies like Sony Ericsson, Panasonic, Asus, Acer and HTC also promise to launch Android One phones in the near future.
