Facebook tests the ability to temporarily turn off notifications from friends on the News Feed
You feel very frustrated when many friends post news you don't care about, making them always on News Feed? Don't worry, Facebook is about to launch a new feature to help you solve that.
Currently, Facebook is testing a feature called Snooze that allows users to temporarily "unfollow" a certain person, group or page within 24 hours, a week and even 30 days.
This feature is currently only tested with a small number of users. It appears in the "." icon on the right side of the post. When you click on it and select "Unfollow or Snooze", you will pause to follow someone. This is a progressive feature besides the two "Unfollow" and "Hide post" features that are known to many users.
