Discover the most modern Observatory in the North
On January 9, the Vietnam Space Center under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology announced its operation plan and opened the door to welcome visitors to the Hoa Lac Observatory. This is the most modern Observatory in the North, started in 2015 and has just been completed with a total cost of VND 60 billion.
Here, visitors can learn about astronomy knowledge through short films, attractive 3D visual effects on astronomy, constellations, Solar System . The projection house is about 100 seats. sit.
The projector is designed with a space-shaped dome and is equipped with a system of 6 high-resolution projectors.
The telescope is telescope equipped with a diameter of 0.5m, designed and manufactured by a famous Italian company. The telescope is placed above the observatory to learn about the sky.
As the glass moves along the motion of the object in the sky, the telescopic roof on the observatory also automatically follows.
The telescope has a large aperture that allows observers to see nearly 4,000 times dimmer than the naked eye. The 0.5-second corner resolution helps to see objects with a distance of about 1km on the surface of the Moon.
This is a viewfinder that can be viewed at a wide angle, used to shape and move the subject to capture / aim at the field of view of the telescope tube.
School swivel and dedicated camera. They are attached at the focal point of the reflecting telescope.
Outside of the Observatory. Astronomical works are located in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park. Radio will open to welcome visitors, first of all, it will prioritize research people, student groups and students in the field of cosmology to learn, scientific research, from the second quarter of this year.
