Candela Speed Boat AB, Sweden engineers have successfully built the first electric powered motorboat in the world. This special boat is called Candela Seven and works by the power supplied by the lithium-ion battery.
Electric motor boat Candela Seven is made of carbon fiber, about 7.7m long and can carry up to 5 people. The boat is designed with underground wings to lift the hull out of the water. The Candela Seven is equipped with a special mode that enables it to run in shallow water.
Candela said that this electric motor boat runs about 50 nautical miles per charge and works best at speeds of up to 30 knots (54 km / h). Compared to regular motorboats, Candela Seven is not inferior in speed and range.
In particular, the electric motorboat Candela Seven "has almost no noise" and saves up to 75% of energy compared to traditional fuel-powered boats.
The start, run, shutdown modes are completely automatic.

Currently, this Candela is being sold by Candela for £ 192,000 (~ 6 billion VND). In the near future, the company will produce cheap models.
