Coordinating with chip maker Intel and mobile carrier Sprint in the US, Asus wants to welcome WiMax technology that has been praised for a long time but has not come into existence and is expected to grow in the next 3-5 years.
Microsoft also does not want to stay out of the cheap laptop trend and will develop a reduced version of Windows so users can still use the familiar gadgets like the desktop.
Eee PC laptops now have 7 inch screen sizes, run Linux but still have Windows installed, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g connection. The device uses 4GB SSD storage drive for $ 399.
