Phenomena

Reason

When the Canon printer flashes the yellow light 5 times continuously, look at the LCD screen of the machine or  the computer screen , it is likely that the machine has encountered one of the following errors:

- Error 1401: The printer has not been installed with a printhead or a nozzle (for inkjet printers), ie the printer does not recognize the printhead.

- Error 1403: Sensor indicates high printhead temperature.

- Error 1405: EEFPROM error (print head error).

How to fix

When you encounter errors 1401 or 1403, you can fix it yourself at home by reinstalling the printhead, nozzle or stopping printing for a while to let the print head cool down. However, with error 1405, please bring the printer to the service center for advice and support!
