Bphone 4 has the official name Bphone B86, completely removed physical buttons
According to BKAV CEO Nguyen Tu Quang, the new generation Bphone will have absolutely no physical buttons. In addition, the official name for this device has also been confirmed: Bphone B86.
The removal of BKAV physical buttons on Bphone B86 is considered a new step to follow the "flat design" philosophy that this Vietnamese smartphone manufacturer has been pursuing for many years. Bphone B86 border picture revealed by BKAV for VNReview clearly shows this: Bphone B86 absolutely does not have any cuts for physical buttons on either side of the border.

However, BKAV is not the first manufacturer to come up with the idea of removing physical buttons on smartphones. In 2016, Apple started to stir this trend when it launched the iPhone 7 with a pressure-sensitive Home key and provided feedback via the Taptic Engine vibrator. HTC then took it one step further when equipping the U12 Plus with the same power button and touch-type volume. And most recently, the Chinese manufacturer Meizu's Zero has completely removed all physical buttons.
Regarding the name of Bphone B86, it is still not clear why BKAV decided to choose this name. According to popular belief, 86 is a lucky number, bringing "fortune" to its owner. Also, BKAV is expecting Bphone B86 to bring "outbreak" for this manufacturer after three generations of Bphone not really successful.
Earlier, Mr. Quang also implicitly confirmed that Bphone B86 will not have a fingerprint sensor in the screen, because this technology "provides an experience that is not good enough, slow response, insensitive".
Bphone B86 will be officially launched on April 7. Due to the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, this event will be held online and users can watch it via livestream, electronic newspaper and VTC2 TV channel.
