Bkis is about to stop providing Bkav Home

From the beginning of March, Bkis has launched a trial version of Bkav Security Essential software (Bkav SE) on major technology forums such as Vozforums, Softvnn, Gamevn, vn-zoom .

The interface of Bkav SE version is similar to Bkav Pro version.

Bkav SE is a new version of free antivirus software developed by Bkis to replace Bkav Home software. Compared to Bkav Home version, Bkav SE will have some new features from the commercial version, such as real-time updates (Live Update), cloud computing, Firewall (firewall), rootkit scanning, virus scanning Super polymorphism . In addition, Bkav SE will have features for those who are proficient in computer use in specific virus scanning scenarios.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, Director of R&D Department of BKIS, said that at the end of 2010, Bkis met with the management of technology forums to receive comments for products. After this meeting, Bkis has established communication channels on most technology forums in Vietnam. Through more than half a year of working with forums, the company has received many useful feedbacks about products and services. Bkav SE version is the most obvious achievement for this cooperation. Therefore, the Bkav SE Beta trial program has been limited to technology forums from March 2 to March 11 and there are more than 3,000 members registered to use Bkav SE.

" It is expected that in the coming time, after receiving feedback from users, the official version of Bkav SE will be released to replace Bkav Home, " Son said.

According to Mr. Son, Bkav Home Plus anti-virus software that Bkis brought in December's VB100 test and is in the top 10 best antivirus software of Virus Bulletin is the precursor to Bkav SE version.
