Apple issued 31 patches for Mac OS X OS
Yesterday (December 17), Apple issued 31 security patches for Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard operating systems.
Most of these patches are for Tiger OS, and only partially for Leopard - Apple's latest Mac OS X version. Mac users can use the Software Update feature to update automatically, or download a patch from Apple's website.
Among the vulnerabilities patched this time, there are many dangerous vulnerabilities that allow remote attacks on the computer and execute malicious code on the system. These attacks often target Address Book programs, RSS features of Safari, and CUPS (regular Unix printing systems) .
Last week, Apple also upgraded QuickTime to patch a serious vulnerability in this application. Also in this issue, Apple also provides patches for Safari users of Windows version.
