Apple issued 31 patches for Mac OS X OS
Yesterday (December 17), Apple issued 31 security patches for Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard operating systems.
Most of these patches are for Tiger OS, and only partially for Leopard - Apple's latest Mac OS X version. Mac users can use the Software Update feature to update automatically, or download a patch from Apple's website.

These attacks often target Address Book programs, RSS features of Safari, and CUPS (regular Unix printing systems) .
Last week, Apple also upgraded QuickTime to patch a serious vulnerability in this application. Also in this issue, Apple also provides patches for Safari users of Windows version.
