According to a report in the New York Post, data from the Cleveland Clinic shows that 1 in 5 Americans seek health advice from AI. Meanwhile, a Tebra survey from last year found that about 25% of Americans would rather use chatbots than traditional therapy.

Despite the growing reliance on AI, experts still advise against sharing too much personal or medical information with ChatGPT and other AI chatbots. Here are 7 things you should never ask ChatGPT and other AI chatbots:

Personal information

Never share personal information with Chatbot AI, such as your name, address, phone number, or email address. This information can be used to identify you and track your activity.

Financial information

Never share your financial information with an AI Chatbot, such as bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or social security numbers. This information could be used to steal your money or identity.

Never share your password with an AI chatbot. This information can be used to access your account and steal your data.

Your Secret

Never share your secrets with AI Chatbot. ChatGPT is not a person and do not trust it to keep your secrets safe.

Medical or health advice

Most chatbots filter out any sexually explicit information shared with them, so any inappropriate information could get you blocked. Not only that, remember, the internet is full of everything, so you never know where this information might end up.
