7 major changes will be available on iOS 14
Here are 7 major changes on the iPhone's new iOS operating system based on rumors.
1. Neat application interface
The Siri screen and call apps in iOS 14 will probably be finer tuned. Apple is trying to change the current interface in a simple way to help users have a better experience.
2. Improved multitasking
By 2020, Apple's two operating systems, iOS for smartphones and iPadOS for tablets, will have a clearer differentiation.
New iPadOS is supposed to support mouse, clearer file management. The operating system on this tablet is also easier to use.
When this year's iPhone is up to 6.7 inches in size, the new iOS will likely be equipped with multitasking, split screen, drag and drop application windows .
3. Super wide connection
In 2020, Apple is likely to upgrade to Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology to support AirTags to help find lost iPhones or navigate smart home devices to work more accurately.
4. Support 5G
It is expected that the 2020 iPhone will be equipped with high-speed 5G mobile connectivity on the 6GHz band and mmWave 5G. To be compatible with this new generation mobile network, Apple is likely to update to the new iOS.
