Socket Science makes its own gaming laptops using desktop parts
According to Hackaday's findings, YouTuber Socket Science has finally completed his 14-month quest to build a laptop with desktop components inside. The inside is no different from a gaming PC, with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, XFX Radeon RX6600 and low-profile RAM sticks crammed into an ITX motherboard.
Fitting all that into a laptop case and ensuring everything is adequately cooled is an incredibly difficult task, not to mention organizing all the laptop essentials.
