This person points out how laptop GPUs compare to desktops and how larger variants often produce much better frames. So, he spent over a year building his own laptop using desktop components and the end result is amazing.
Socket Science makes its own gaming laptops using desktop parts
According to Hackaday's findings, YouTuber Socket Science has finally completed his 14-month quest to build a laptop with desktop components inside. The inside is no different from a gaming PC, with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, XFX Radeon RX6600 and low-profile RAM sticks crammed into an ITX motherboard.
Fitting all that into a laptop case and ensuring everything is adequately cooled is an incredibly difficult task, not to mention organizing all the laptop essentials. However, as shown in the video above, Socket Science finally succeeded and is proud to present its project to everyone.
