Windows 7 users need to install Microsoft patches immediately to fix BlueKeep security errors
Today, Windows 7 or older users need to install important patches to fix recently discovered security bugs on older Windows versions.
In early May, Microsoft announced the discovery of a serious security vulnerability on Windows 7 and earlier Windows versions called BlueKeep. This vulnerability is capable of providing remote access to users' PCs for hackers by using vulnerabilities (also known as' worms') and through remote computer control protocols - Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) of Windows.
The video below is a concrete example of such a vulnerability.
On May 14, Microsoft released a patch for all Windows versions affected by the BlueKeep vulnerability. However, there are still some old Windows users who are at risk of being affected by the BlueKeep vulnerability that has not yet updated Microsoft's patch, at least about 922,225 computers.
If you are still using the version of Windows affected by the BlueKeep vulnerability and have not updated the patch, do it now. If ignored, the possibility of your PC being affected by the vulnerability is too great.
If you want to check if your computer is affected by the vulnerability, use McAfee computer security company's testing tool.
