Toshiba put WiMax into 'super mobile' R700

With powerful wireless connection technology, R700-S1332W also owns Core i7 processor, 128GB SSD and super light weight as before.

Toshiba has just added WiMax technology for its 13-inch screen laptop with the world's lightest optical drive, including two versions R700-S1332W and R700-S1322W .

According to Wiki, WiMax (short for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) is the IEEE 802.16 standard for wireless broadband Internet connection at large distances.

Along with WiMax connectivity, model R700-S1332W is also equipped with Intel Core i7 processor and SSD solid-state drive with 128GB capacity. Meanwhile, R700-S1322W has a lower option with Intel Core i5 processor, hard drive with 320GB capacity, 7,200 rpm. Both have DDR3 RAM of 4GB capacity.

This WiMax-equipped duo of Toshiba has started to be sold today for $ 1,699 for a Core i7 processor and $ 1,349 for a Core i5 chip (reference price in the US market). .
