Death Standing is the latest game from Hideo Kojima, the designer behind the hit Metal Gear Solid series. You play as Sam Porter Bridges, a transportation worker tasked with informing and connecting the scattered colonies of human remnants.

5. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Sekiro has a tough combat system that makes it one of the most challenging adventures out there. Set in Sengoku Japan, Sekiro puts you in the role of a fallen warrior who is resurrected by supernatural forces to report prison. In this game, there is no enemy that can be taken lightly because you always need to use skills to defeat them. Just one miscalculation and taking a fatal blow can lead to your death.

6. Fallout 4

When Fallout 4 first came out, it didn't have much content, but the addition of DLC and mods changed the player experience completely. The world of Fallout is a post-apocalyptic time, where survivors must battle bizarre creatures to save their lives.

There is a time and place for that, but the linearity of the storytelling will quickly point you in the right direction. Here's a remake that works better than you'd expect. And while it has some shortcomings, it's overall one of the PS4's best single-player games.

10. Resident Evil 2 (2019)

If horror is your favorite genre, look no further than Resident Evil 2. This remake takes the original 1998 PS One and upscales it to suit current hardware needs. Capcom puts everything in this game, from the stunning visuals, to the pacing and storytelling in which the characters intertwine. Another unique feature is that the in-game map is so useful that you'll have to flip it over and over again.
