HP launched Pavilion 14 Chromebook for $ 330
HP has officially introduced its first Chromebook called Pavilion 14 to run Chrome OS. And the product will be officially released on February 17th here for 330 USD.
This price of Pavilion 14 Chromebook is higher than that of competitors from Samsung (US $ 249) or Acer (US $ 199) and owns the same configuration of Acer C7. Specifically, the device integrates Intel Celeron 847 processor with 1.1 GHz speed and 2 GB RAM. Besides, although Samsung's Chromebook has a more eye-catching design, it is only equipped with a lower ARM processor.
Like most Chromebooks, Pavilion 14 Chromebook is equipped with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and 16 GB internal memory, but users will receive an additional 100 GB of free storage space on Google Drive in 2 first year.
HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook is about 20.32 mm thick and weighs 1.82 kg, the heaviest of all Chromebooks currently on the market.
In addition, HP's Chromebook has built-in HDMI ports, 3 USB 2.0 ports, SD card reader and even Ethernet, which Samsung's latest Chromebook is missing.
According to HP, the batteries installed inside Pavilion 14 Chromebook last for about 4 hours and 15 minutes.
