Things to expect from the upcoming iPhone SE 4
The upcoming iPhone SE 4 comes with many innovations in design and performance, promising to bring a superior experience.
While the spotlight is on the iPhone 17, Apple is also quietly developing another new iPhone model - the iPhone SE 4. This is expected to be a significant update to the company's most affordable iPhone line, with a completely new design, USB-C charging port and many other attractive features. Here are the highlights of what users can expect from the iPhone SE 4.

iPhone SE 4 will be launched soon with many innovations.
New design with larger screen
One of the biggest changes to the iPhone SE 4 will be its design. Unlike the current generation, which has an iPhone 8-style design with thick bezels and a 4.7-inch display, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to have a 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch at the top, similar to the iPhone 14.
According to information from 91mobiles, the size of the iPhone SE 4 will be 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm, larger than the 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3mm size of the current version.
Face ID instead of Touch ID
The iPhone SE 4 is likely to ditch the Home button and switch to Face ID facial recognition technology. This change is supported by a new design with a notch on the screen, which houses the components needed for Face ID.
More powerful performance
While the third-generation iPhone SE was powered by the A15 Bionic chip, the iPhone SE 4 will be upgraded with the A18 chip and 8GB of RAM. This promises to deliver superior performance, allowing the device to run Apple's new features smoothly.
USB-C port
Another notable change is that the iPhone SE 4 will switch from Lightning to USB-C for charging, a move that is in line with the latest iPhone 16 series and also a legal requirement from the European Union.
Modem designed by Apple
Finally, the iPhone SE 4 will not use a Qualcomm modem but will be equipped with a modem designed by Apple itself. This will be the first Apple product to use a self-developed modem.
While this change may not be noticeable to users, Apple hopes to maintain the same cellular connectivity experience as before.
