This nearly 240 km long stretch of road through the desert belongs to Highway 10, connecting Highway 75 in the Haradh area with Highway 95 in western Saudi Arabia. This road bends slightly right before the town of Al Batha after 240km of straight stretch without a single bend. According to Guinness records, it takes about 2 hours by car to complete this super straight road.

Initially, this road was built as a private road for King Fahd (King of Saudi Arabia from 1982 to 2005). After becoming part of the public road system, that road section was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the longest straight road in the world.

In addition, it is also known as "the most boring road in the world" due to its complete lack of curves, almost completely flat terrain and nothing special in sight.

However, when driving on this road, the driver also encounters many difficulties such as easily becoming disoriented due to the constant heat and strong light in the desert and the lack of markers.

This isolated stretch of road also does not have many gas stations, so drivers must bring enough water and monitor the fuel gauge carefully.

Previously, the title of the longest straight road in the world belonged to Australia's Eyre Highway with a length of more than 146km.
