1. Changji - Guquan transmission line (China): 3,324 km
Changji - Guquan Ultra high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission line is owned and operated by the State Grid Corporation of China. The project started construction in January 2016 and completed in December 2018.
This is the longest power transmission line in the world today, with a length of 3,324 km. This line transmits electricity from the Northwest to the East of China with an output of about 60-85 billion kWh per year. Changji - Guquan is also the world's first power transmission line operating at a voltage of 1,100kV.

The line has a transmission capacity of 4 GW, supplying electricity from the Belo Monte hydroelectric plant (11,233 MW) in northern Brazil to the Estreito substation in southeastern Brazil.

The 800kV Jinping - Sunan transmission line with a rated capacity of 7.2 GW was put into operation in December 2012. The line passes through 8 provinces of China from the Guandi, Jinping, Sichuan hydroelectric power plants located on the Yalong River in Sichuan province, passing through the provinces of Yunnan, Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang to Jiangsu.

This 800kV power transmission line of India starts from Biswanath Chariali in the state of Assam located in northeastern India to Agra, a city on the Yamuna river, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
