The computer maker 'cherished' 3D screens

Dell, HP, Lenovo and Sony are said to have begun producing 3D-screen laptop computers.

For the first time, information about the notebook with 3D imaging technology was introduced at the CES ( Consumer Electronics Show ) 2008 International Technology Fair. According to DigiTimes, leading original design manufacturer (ODM) Wistron has received a number of orders to build 3D technology for both new Dell and HP computers. Meanwhile Lenovo and Sony are also said to be negotiating with Wistron about developing similar products.

The cost of producing a screen with 3D technology is far less than producing a normal monitor. That means the price of a computer with this technology will not be much more expensive than products currently on the market.
