Dell, HP, Lenovo and Sony are said to have begun producing 3D-screen laptop computers.

For the first time, information about the notebook with 3D imaging technology was introduced at the CES ( Consumer Electronics Show ) 2008 International Technology Fair. After that, there was more news coming out at this fair too. in 2009, where Nvidia's booths introduced a few 3D gaming technologies called Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision. Basically, what this technology needs is an LCD that has a 120 Hz Refresh Rate and produces two stereoscopic images with a response rate of 60 Mhz, then passes through the 3D glasses to create the effect. According to DigiTimes, leading original design manufacturer (ODM) Wistron has received a number of orders to build 3D technology for both new Dell and HP computers. Meanwhile Lenovo and Sony are also said to be negotiating with Wistron about developing similar products.

The cost of producing a screen with 3D technology is far less than producing a normal monitor. That means the price of a computer with this technology will not be much more expensive than products currently on the market. However, only the image of Acer laptop version using 3D imaging technology has appeared. Information about similar products is provided by HP and Dell. Moreover, the launch date of these products has not been officially announced by the manufacturer.
