The camera on iPhone 16 Pro will have a breakthrough upgrade
A source from Korea's yeux1122 said that Apple is said to be testing camera lenses with new coating technology for the iPhone 16 Pro product line. This coating will improve photo quality, including reducing glare that existed on previous iPhone models.
Over the years, Apple has continuously upgraded the cameras on its new iPhone generations. However, the phenomenon of glare while recording video under outdoor light cannot be overcome. This causes the image to appear some strange blurriness, mixed with light, causing loss of image detail.
If this leaked news is correct, Atomic Layer Deposition - ALD technology (roughly translated as atomic layer deposition) can fix that, making photos taken from iPhone 16 Pro more beautiful.
Previously, there were rumors that the main camera on the iPhone 16 Pro product line would use a Sony IMX903 sensor with 48MP resolution with a stacked design to achieve better performance.
The camera sensor on the iPhone 16 Pro product line will be 12% larger, with a size of 1/1.14 inch. For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro models currently have sensors measuring 1/1.28 inches. This also coincides with predictions from analyst Jeff Pu, who said that the iPhone 16 Pro will use a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera and support Wi-Fi 7 connection.
Besides, according to reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that the iPhone 16 Pro will use a 48MP dual sensor that first appeared on the iPhone. In addition, the high-end iPhone model in 2024 also has a 12MP periscope lens.
For standard iPhone 16 models, wide-angle and ultra-wide lenses will be arranged vertically for spatial video recording.
The iPhone 16 series is expected to be released by Apple next September. In particular, in addition to strong camera upgrades, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max duo also attract attention with Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Advance connectivity, A18 Pro chip, and cooling system with graphene material. The iPhone 16 product line will likely be supported by artificial intelligence, allowing users to interact with chatbots or create text images right on the phone.
