5. AI-generated captions for images

Google is once again leveraging AI to improve Lookout for Android. It can now automatically generate descriptions of any image and read them out loud to assist people who are blind or visually impaired.

According to Google's blog post, the company is also bringing Wallet passes to Wear OS watches and public transit directions to Google Maps on Wear OS. More importantly, the Fitbit app can now display statistics from third-party apps and devices that support Android's Health Connect platform.

Finally, when listening to Spotify, the output switcher on the Android home screen will show Spotify Connect devices. This allows users to listen to their favorite music without interruption when switching between devices.
