Strix Scar III - laptop running Asus' first generation 9 Core i9 chip, highly configurable, has' lock 'to personalize the computer
ROG Strix Scar III - gaming laptop, not only has Asus changed its appearance design, but it has also been upgraded with the latest 9th generation Core i9 chip from Intel. The device is sold in Vietnam market for VND 80 million.
The computer playing this game of Asus has a size of 360 x 275 x 24.7mm and weight of 2.57kg. The back of the device uses an aluminum case, metallic scratches and ROG logo that changes color through the built-in Aura software. In addition, the back also has an RGB LED that can change color continuously.
However, the LED strip with the transition effect at the bottom is the highlight of Strix Scar III. When combined with a keyboard light, it creates a pretty picture in the dark.
The right side of the machine only has SD card slot, heat sink slot and "key" named ROG Keystone, which helps personalize the computer. When plugging ROG Keystone into a computer, users can create and use a separate drive divided from hard boxes to store confidential documents. This drive will be hidden when the "key" is removed from the machine, others cannot detect it. Each keystone is individually encrypted and can only be used for one Strix SCAR III.
The left edge of the device is equipped with 3 USB ports and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The back of the machine has ports to connect LAN, HDMI, USB Type C, power port, two heat sinks and small holes on the top to help heat escape process is accelerated.
On Strix Scar III keyboards, the keys activate fast features such as backlight, key effect, ROG software . separately placed to make operation easier. ROG Strix Scar III is not equipped with mechanical keyboard.
The touchpad is placed in the middle, with a touch-sensitive numeric keypad, but only one of the two functions is allowed. This means that if a user uses a number key, they cannot hover and vice versa.
ROG Strix Scar III screen is equipped with IPS panel Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) with a thin border design on the right, left and top edges, and the bottom edge is very thick. The display quality of the screen is quite well displayed in areas with strong light, wide viewing angle, high contrast.
Strix Scar II has a scanning frequency of up to 240Hz and a response time of 3ms (milliseconds), among the top gaming laptops with the highest scanning frequencies available today. This helps minimize ghosting or tearing, providing a smoother experience when playing games.
ROG Strix Scar III is the first Asus laptop equipped with Intel's 9th generation Intel Core i9-9880H processor. It has 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD memory, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070.
