Strange story about frogs laying eggs and taking eggs in bamboo trees
With strange ecological behavior, frogs with the scientific name Raorchestes chalazodes are now receiving the attention of global scientists.
According to Wikipedia, Raorchestes chalazodes are a species of frog in the Rhacophoridae family. They are endemic to India. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forests.

Many people believe that this frog is nearly extinct about 100 years ago. However, the re-discovery of this frog was in 2003 in the Wernt Ghats mountain range with an average length of about 25 mm.
Recently, scientists from the National University of Singapore and the Indian Institute of Science suddenly found this frog in tropical bamboo forest with strange ecological behavior.
The male frogs snuck into the cracked young bodies, with holes in the bamboo stems in the bamboo stalks. After that, they invited the female frogs to come in and conduct mating.

Some time later, the females put eggs in the bamboo stoves and left and the male frogs were responsible for cultivating eggs until the eggs hatched.
At night, the male frog temporarily away from the eggs in the bamboo burning range for a few hours to find a full meal and then return to continue the task of " guarding the door ".
Many experts say, this is an unusual reproductive behavior found in frogs Raorchestes chalazodes. They tend to leave far away from the aquatic area to carry out normal spawning. One reason might be that they change their reproductive behavior by enemies, unfavorable aquatic environments that make them selectively reproduce .
And one problem is that many tropical bamboo forests in India have been exploited indiscriminately to make houses, pulp . Synonyms make this frog out of place to breed and lose gradually living environment and may become extinct again in the future.
