Sony stopped updating software for Xperia 2012 phones except Xperia T, TX and V
Sony has updated the software support information pages for Xperia phones released in 2012. Accordingly, all Xperia 2012 products end in Android 4.0 or Android 4.1.
Only 3 products in the Xperia 2012 series are still unknown whether or not to continue to update the Xperia T , Xperia TX and Xperia V. Sony said the KitKat update for the three phones is still in the review stage. Therefore, users of Xperia T, TX and V still have hope to update.
Xperia 2012 phones will stop at Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich version including Xperia U, Xperia tipo (and tipo dual version) , Xperia sola, Xperia miro and Xperia arc S. Android 4.1 Jelly Bea n will be Android versions finally with Xperia SL, Xperia ion, Xperia acro S, Xperia J, Xperia go, Xperia S and Xperia P.
The Xperia S ends with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version
