HP said it will work closely with the China General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Inspection to ensure that customers' concerns are addressed to certain types of laptops.
The Chinese agency is investigating complaints from 60 HP laptop users about defects. HP-extended laptops in China include a certain number of HP Pavilion laptops and Compaq Presario notebooks.
According to Chinese lawyer Jiang Suhua, more than 500 laptop users in the country contacted a lawyer to appeal a product error.
Most of these complaints, dating back to 2007, focused on the fault of the graphics chips being too hot when the operation or display screen problems.
