Finally, after many rumors, Sony has officially announced the new Vaio M. series of Japanese electronics firms, not calling it a netbook but a mini-notebook, although the Vaio M series is compact in size. The 10.1-inch screen and the processor used only seen on netbooks are Intel Atom.
Not much difference compared to the information given before, Vaio M line owns LED backlight screen size 10.1 inch ratio 16:10 (resolution 1,024 x 600), Intel Atom processor Atom N450 1.6GHz speed, 1 GB DDR2 RAM (667 MHz), Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 graphics chip, Serial ATA hard drive 250GB capacity.
These new models have a detailed dimensions of 182.8 x 26.4-32.9 x 268 mm, weighs 1.4 kg with a 6-cell battery included with connections like Wi-Fi standard, Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR.
Vaio M series will have two choices of colors are black and white, pre-installed Windows 7 Starter operating system (32-bit) and sold for about $ 450 in early April.
