Solution for prototyping in 3D space
Autodesk design software company has officially introduced Autodesk ImageModeler 2009 - a tool that allows creating 3D models from 2D digital images .
This suite is very useful for architects, product designers, civil engineers and experts in the field of media and entertainment.
Users of ImageModeler 2009 software can use scanned images or photos to reproduce real images of objects, views and cities; integrating CAD design into a real environment or measuring building sizes. ImageModeler software and similar applications like Stitcher Unlimited were developed by REALVIZ, the software company merged with Autodesk in 2008.
Autodesk ImageModeler 2009 supports a variety of digital image formats including JPG, TIF, Photoshop, TGA, bitmap, and PNG. In the new version of 2009, Autodesk ImageModeler software fully supports 360-degree panoramic views such as original images, calibrating individual images of drawings and allowing the use of distance constraints to enhance the key corpses in observations. Enhancements to prototyping include a corner correction tool that allows sharpening of the corners of an object. Structural improvements include the ability to coordinate the structure and maintain density and the same improvements for editing UV drawings.
Autodesk ImageModeler 2009 is compatible on Mac OS X (10.4.11 and 10.5.2 or higher), 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2 or higher), or versions 32 -bit of Microsoft Windows Vista SP Business (or higher than Service Pack 1 has been installed). Internet Explorer v6 or higher, Mozilla Firefox v2, or higher browsers are required to access ImageModeler 2009 data.
