SanDisk sold the world's first 1 TB microSD memory card, costing more than VND 10 million
The world's first 1 TB microSD memory card was marketed by SanDisk for the same price as an iPad Air or iPhone 8 Plus.
This product is sold on Amazon for up to 450 USD or nearly 10.5 million VND, 9 times more expensive than a 400 GB microSD Ultra memory card from SanDisk itself and 5 times more than a microSD card 512 GB of Samsung.
However, compared to a lower capacity memory card, this SanDisk 1TB memory model has a superior read and write speed, 160MB / s and 90MB / s, respectively. With this speed of data recording, it fully meets the demand for 4K recording on many high-end new smartphones.
Most smartphones currently only have internal memory of 512 GB.
Although it has just been sold on Amazon, the memory card of the 1 TB version of SanDisk has sold out, while the 64GB to 512GB versions are still available. This shows that the demand for users of high capacity memory cards is quite high.
