Revealed 11 Intel's first generation 10 Ice Lake CPU models
Intel has announced 11 Ice 10 Intel Lake CPU models aimed at light-weight 2-in-1 laptops, increasing AI processing capabilities, integrating Intel Iris Plus improved graphics core, and supporting Thunderbolt 3 high-speed and Connect Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +).
11 Generation 10 Ice Lake CPUs will have all models from Core i3 to Core i7 and are named in the familiar way of Intel, starting with 2 numbers 1 and 0 respectively for generation 10. The new point is in The end of the name of CPU Ice Lake will have the suffix G1, G4 or G7.
In particular, G7 with 64 EU units (execution units) are the CPUs with the strongest graphics core, followed by G4 with 48 EU and CPU with the lowest graphics is G1 with 32 EU .
The first 11 models will be for laptops, still divided into 2 lines U and Y but be distinguished by the numbers 0, 5, and 8 corresponding to the TDP. The greater the TDP level, the more power consumption and the stronger the performance. Specifically, the Y series chips will have a zero before the G symbol, while the U series will have a number of 5 or 8. Accordingly 0 is a TDP of 9W, 5 is a TDP of 15W and 8 is a 28W TDP.
Y series CPUs will have a TDP of 9W to 12W, saving energy, suitable for ultra-thin laptops.
U series CPUs will have a TDP of between 15W and 25W and a maximum of 28W in the Core i7-1068G7 model, providing higher performance, suitable for compact laptops that need more performance.
Core i5 and i7 chips will have 4 powerful 8-core cores, better multitasking, while Core i3 models will have only 2 4-core processors.
The i7-1068G7 when running at single-core Turbo and 3.6 GHZ when multi-core reaches the maximum clock rate of up to 4.1 GHz.
Intel said there were 35 laptop models equipped with Ice Lake CPU ready to ship during the holiday season later this year.
