Benchmarking route of Coffee Lake - 8th generation Intel chip
Last month, Intel unveiled its first 8th generation Core i CPU. Many people expect the company to reveal the name Intel Lake Coffee Lake, but the first chips of this generation are Kaby Lake's refresh: Four 15W U-series mobile CPUs are built on the version. sophisticated of 14nm + process.
YouTuber - Karl Morin's Montreal-based technology gives us a score of Coffee Lake when he runs it through the HP Omen computer that comes with an Intel Core-i7 8700K chip at the HWBot event. He also ran several single-threaded and single-threaded CPU-Z tests.
In this test, the Core i7-8700K was compared to its brothers, the i7-7700K and AMD Ryzen 5 1600X.

6-core CPU / 12-threaded CPU scored 1230 points in Cinebench R15 and 196 multi-threaded tests for single performance. In the Cinebench standard, we placed the 8700K chip on the Core-i7 7700K (941) 4-core / 8-threaded chip, but just below the Ryzen 5 1600X (1260) chip, 6 cores / 12 threads of AMD for multithreading performance. Meanwhile, the single thread score of Core i7-8700K has surpassed Kaby Lake.
In CPU-Z tests, the Core-i7 8700K chip achieved 13,680 points for multi-threaded performance and 1345 in single-threaded results.
Another leaked source provided by the Geekbench database: Coffee Lake combines EVGA's upcoming Z370 motherboard with an 8700K chip to achieve a single core score of 5773 and a multi-core score of 24,620. This makes it ahead of both the Core i7-7700K (5725 single core, 18,800 multi-core) and Ryzen 5 1600X (4180 single-core, 18,650 multi-core) chips.
According to such results, the benchmark of this Intel 8 th generation Coffee Coffee chip outperforms other predecessor chips and at least equals AMD rival.
