Shortcuts for Photoshop with Brush and Fill
- ] or [: Increase or decrease the brush size. Selecting a brush size is one of the most important and regular tasks when using Photoshop, use the above command to quickly increase or decrease the brush size.
- Shift + F5: Fill color. Even if you want to fill the selection color with the foreground color, some background color or pattern, just use the shortcut above, the Fill dialog will appear for you to choose.
- } or {: Increase or decrease the hardness of brush stroke (hardness of brush)
- : Choose the brush earlier or later
- Shift + < or Shift +>: Select the first or last brush. If you do not want to change the previous brush in the long list of brushes, you can use this command to select the first or last brush quickly.
Shortcuts in Photoshop to save files
- Ctrl + Shift + Alt + S (Mac: Cmd + Shift + Opt + S): Save the image for the web
- Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + W: Turn off and go to Adobe Bridge
- Shift + Alt + P: Switch to the Airbrush tool
Photoshop shortcuts when editing photos
- Ctrl / Cmd + L: Level adjustment. When editing photos, you'll use this tool quite often, save time with this shortcut.
- Ctrl / Cmd + T: Resize freely. This command allows the user to open the tool to resize, rotate and adjust the symmetry of the image.
- Ctrl / Cmd + M: Adjust the dark light area with Curves
- Ctrl / Cmd + B: Color balance
- Ctrl / Cmd + U: Adjust Hue and Saturation
- Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + U: Switch to grayscale color (Desaturate). This command changes color to grayscale value, leaving only 1 color mode for the image.
- Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + L: Automatic correction
- Alt + Shift + Ctrl + L (Mac: Opt + Shift + Cmd + L): Adjust the contrast automatically
- Shift + Ctrl / Cmd + B: Automatic color correction
- Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + R: Optical error processing
- Alt + Shift + Ctrl + A (Mac: Opt + Shift + Cmd + A): Adaptive Wide Angle. Using a wide-angle lens can cause some kind of distortion and Photoshop has a filter to help handle this error. Adaptive Wide Angle can quickly turn curves in Panorama images into straight lines or process fish-eye shots and wide-angle lenses.
- Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + A: Raw image filter. Older versions of Photoshop run Adobe Camera Raw as a removable program, but in Photoshop CC it is used as a filter, allowing the application of quite complex edits to images.
- Ctrl + Shift + Alt + C (Mac: Cmd + Shift + Opt + C): Content Aware Scale. Stretch the image without distorting the object in the image.
- Shift + J: Content Aware Move. This Photoshop CC tool allows moving objects in images and automatically filling in blank areas.
- Ctrl + Alt + G (Mac: Cmd + Opt + G): Create clipping mask
- Shift + plus sign (+) or minus sign (-): Blend modes
- Shift + Ctrl + Alt + B (Mac: Shift + Cmd + Opt + B): Open the black and white dialog box. Speed up the transfer of color images to black and white images with this shortcut.
- Ctrl + Alt + I (Mac: Cmd + Opt + I): Change the image size
