According to Notebookcheck , CEO, Chou Biao Sheng, of Taiwanese technology company, said in the first quarter of 2010, Pegatron will start selling Smartbooks for under $ 200.

Chou explained, Smartbook has many advantages when compared with mobile phones, fast start-up, full-featured, power-saving, compact, user-friendly interface and cheap.

Previously, Pegatron also introduced the Smartbook model with ARM Cortex A8 chip and Freescale iMX515 CPU produced by itself, which Palm Pre smartphone is using.
