According to Notebookcheck , CEO, Chou Biao Sheng, of Taiwanese technology company, said in the first quarter of 2010, Pegatron will start selling Smartbooks for under $ 200.

Chou explained, Smartbook has many advantages when compared with mobile phones, fast start-up, full-featured, power-saving, compact, user-friendly interface and cheap.
Previously, Pegatron also introduced the Smartbook model with ARM Cortex A8 chip and Freescale iMX515 CPU produced by itself, which Palm Pre smartphone is using. Although still not officially launched with detailed configuration information but according to Electronista, Smartbook can also play HD-Ready video format 720p is increasingly popular.
