Applications purchased by users will automatically download and update new versions on the same device on OS X 10.8.
The auto-update feature will be available on Mac OS X 10.8.
The Notebookcheck source said the Automatic Download feature will be added by Apple to the developer version of OS X 10.8 upcoming Mountain Lion. "Apple" introduced this feature as one of the important changes on the new version earlier this year.
This feature also allows users with apps purchased on the App Store to be automatically installed on Macs that use iCloud. These processes will still be fully informed in the new notification system (Notification Center) on this operating system.
Previously Apple also introduced this application on iPhone, iPad as well as iPod. Users can purchase the application on their account, then the software will automatically be downloaded on the device belonging to the same owner.
The complete software version of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion is expected to be released by Apple this summer.
