If your job requires a lot of travel, choose the right laptop.

Mac - A choice

Macs don't seem to be suitable for people who are 'dusty' because of the risk of scratching and damage of this fragile but very expensive model. If you bring a laptop other than a Mac, you will have more options for style, size and features. In addition, you can also replace, repair, find replacement parts if the machine is broken or install more software, buy accessories everywhere. You should note that there are currently many specialized software that does not have an operating system version for Mac.

Select the model

If you have ample financial resources and prepare to go to areas with extreme weather or terrain (rain, humidity, high temperatures, high vibrations), you can consider ultra-durable models like Panasonic Toughbook, Dell Latitude ATG . The price of this line is more expensive than other machines with the same configuration. If you need mobility, you can consider models that have screens of 12 inches or less. Review configuration

The lighter the machine, the more expensive it will be. Normally, popular models weighing about 2 to 2.4 kg are just enough to use. Some high-end models may weigh less than 1 kg and have a 10-12 inch screen.

15 inch screen size is the standard standard for most notebooks. This level allows you to insert the device in a bag easily. However, if you choose 12 or 13 inch models, you will reduce both weight and size and make room for other necessary accessories.

If you regularly sit in the office, hotel, airport, coffee shop, you just need to choose a device with a compact charger to carry it easily because these locations all have power sockets. However, if you often have to sit in the car, you should choose the type of battery with a minimum of 3 hours. If you can choose a machine with battery over 5 hours, the better. If you want to save photos, movies taken, taken during the trip, the hard drive must be at least 60 GB. If you are a professional photographer or want to save movies recorded with HD, you need a much larger hard drive capacity (consider 200-320 GB models).
