Nokia Lumia 1520
Although Microsoft has not yet provided details of the features that Nokia Lumia devices will get through the Cyan update, according to Juha Alakarhu, a former Nokia image employee, said some improvements. Advances will be provided to Lumia 1520 , Lumia 930 and Lumia Icon via Cyan. They include enhanced shooting in low-light conditions, better colors, continuous autofocus, enhanced video quality, and even enhanced quality of RAW shooting thanks to smarter sensors.
Not only that, Juha Alakarhu also confirmed that the Creative Studio application has been completely renovated and updated with new filters. The improved camera application allows Lumia owners to get a slightly faster experience, while the Camera Roll feature handles smoother.
An improvement that Lumia smartphone users can expect is that the speed of taking photos through 20Mpx sensors or more is also faster. According to Eero Salmelin , a former Nokia image staff member who recently moved to Microsoft, the innovative feature of the new camera application will be part of the Cyan update. It even allows users to save images in GIF format via the Living Images feature .
Storyteller application is also updated in Cyan with a special feature called Story sharing , which allows users to share GIF images as videos.
There are still many other improvements that appear in the Cyan update, and Microsoft will update this list in the near future. As expected, Cyan will come to Lumia devices as soon as Microsoft officially releases Windows Phone 8.1 to customers ( around the end of this month ), and of course it will only be exclusive to Lumia smartphones.
