Now, a latest report shows that Microsoft may set a minimum RAM requirement of 16 GB to be able to operate the Copilot AI assistant that the company sees as a highlight in future Windows 11 PCs. Otherwise, Copilot will operate with many limitations as it is simply a cloud-based service instead of retrieving local data.

This requirement means that future Windows 11 PCs, including desktops and laptops, will need to be equipped with 16 GB or more of RAM to be certified for everything to work properly. smoothly on Copilot.
