Microsoft confirms new printer error on Windows 11, only Admin can print

Microsoft says it's working on a fix for an issue affecting Windows 11. This issue requires users to provide their Administrator account and password before each document is printed.

According to Microsoft, this issue affects Windows environments where the print client and print server are located in different time zones.

"You may receive an Admin login message every time you try to print in an environment where the print server and client are in different time zones," Microsoft said.

In fact, Microsoft has fixed this problem on older versions of Windows in the September and October updates. However, there is currently no other solution for customers using Windows 11.

Microsoft promises that an update to fix this problem on Windows 11 will be released at the end of October.

Fortunately, this problem does not affect ordinary users. So far, Microsoft has only recorded computers with problems in the enterprise environment.
