The intense battle between two male turtles captured by filmmakers in the waters off Malaysia is very realistic, giving viewers a vivid moment of life in the wildlife world.
In the video, two sea turtles are mating, suddenly a third male turtle appears and the fight between the two males occurs right on the female to compete for a mate.
Latecomers bite the soft flesh of the male on top of the female turtle to force it to leave its mate. The male turtle insisted on clinging, causing the female tortoise to become weak and sink, it had almost no strength to come up.
Mateo Wills, one of the professional videographers, said the female turtle was deprived of oxygen and was almost desperate when two males were clinging to her body. A turtle can drown in just a few minutes if stressed.
All three turtles fell to the bottom of the sea and the female turtle was crushed at the bottom. Fortunately, the female turtle finally had the strength to rise to the surface to receive oxygen. However, a male still clings to its back to continue the 'harassment'.
The film crew took up to six hours and had to use special diving equipment that allows diving underwater without making a loud noise when exhaling bubbles, to capture the scene in the waters off Malaysia.
