MacBook shipments will increase by 10% in the second quarter
The news website DigiTimes has just forecast that shipments of MacBook laptops from Apple will increase by 10% in the second quarter of this year, although the PC market is still declining.
According to the source, "Apple" will start ordering new MacBook shipments from mid-May, when they have finished stocking the stock.
Earlier, the company said it sold 3.95 million Mac computers in the first quarter of 2013.
DigiTimes' writers Aaron Lee and Joseph Tsai said that because of Apple's notebook shipments in the first quarter, it was quite modest, although the second-quarter ex-works growth rate was 10% . This year will not be as positive as in previous years.
