According to information from Xiaomi Time, the possibility of Xiaomi reinvesting in its laptop line is being considered. Although there is no official launch date, the brand has shown interest in this. Xiaomi's general manager of public relations, Wang Hua, confirmed in a Twitter chat that the company is considering developing new laptops.

Specifically, when a user asked about the laptop launch plan in the next 2 years, Wang Hua replied: 'Yes, Mr. Lu said that the Redmi product line has been successful in the laptop field and we will consider Xiaomi's laptops later. ' This shows that the possibility of new models from the parent brand Xiaomi is still open, in addition to the Redmi models that have been introduced.

The Xiaomi executive also agreed that as Redmi's products 'mature', the company will review its operations in the laptop segment. Currently, the Redmi Book 16 2025 is already on pre-sale in China, with an official launch expected in early 2025.

Previously, Xiaomi made a splash with its Redmi laptop line.

Redmi Book 16 2025 is expected to be equipped with a new Intel Core processor that promises superior performance and up to 19 hours of battery life. This new laptop will also run on the Xiaomi HyperOS platform.

It should be noted that, from 2024, repair services will no longer be available for some Xiaomi laptop models, including the Notebook Air 12.5 series, Notebook Air 13, Notebook Air 13.3, Notebook 15.6 series, Notebook Pro 15.6 series, and Gaming Laptop 15.6 series.
