Is AirTag waterproof?

No, AirTags are not waterproof, instead they are water resistant. It's worth knowing that no Apple product, whether iPhone or Apple Watch, is completely waterproof. When it comes to AirTags, they have an IP67 rating, which is the same as the iPhone SE's water resistance rating. With this rating, the AirTag is highly resistant to water damage.

How to dry AirTag

3. Now, separate the case, body, and battery. If you see any liquid, gently wipe it off with a lint-free cloth.
4. To be safer, let them dry naturally for about an hour. Make sure you do not place the tracking device inside the rice bin or use a dryer to speed up the drying process. Some people may use this trick when their iPhone is wet, but Apple warns that this method of drying the iPhone is harmful.
