iPhone X is taking up the attention of iPhone 8
Apple had an official welcome to iPhone 8 on the shelf but there were few people interested.
The new phone is now officially available at Apple stores (already available online 1 week ago). While previous releases were accompanied by Apple fans having to look forward to delayed delivery, thanks to the delay of the iPhone X, this year was an exception. Many people find buying an iPhone 999 X instead of the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus right in front of them.
At a store in Brooklyn, only 7 people were waiting outside the door. Cooper, a man who picked up the 256GB iPhone 8, had already booked in advance saying he was from 8am. Everything is very fast, he can watch the phone directly and quickly. Cooper said he might buy an iPhone X next year but is also a bit afraid of Face ID.
At the store in Manhattan, people are short and only come and buy immediately, not pre-order. The number of Apple employees and guards and the number of people buying goods are also equal.
A speaker has reserved an iPhone 8 but is looking forward to the iPhone X next month and will upgrade next year. Others are very excited to see the new phone but will wait until they see the iPhone X with their own eyes. Others come only to buy Watch watches, saying that they are planning to buy X as soon as possible, but also praise 8 Plus a lot.
The Apple store in Manhattan is quite deserted
Outside the shop, a worker was surprised by so few people. He said you can sign up for an iPhone 8 and go out of the store in just 15 minutes.
On Apple's site, all versions 8 and 8 Plus are delivered in 2 weeks, the longest delivery date is estimated at 13/10. There will be a little change when more people order but there is no hardship when delivery as in the past.
Apple refuses to provide any information about sales or pre-orders of iPhone 8. If you want, you can buy it now, but don't expect the same situation to happen with iPhone X when it comes out. eyes on 11/11.
