Internet access quality measuring system, a tool to measure Internet access quality online that all Internet users in Vietnam must know

Recently, the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC, under the Ministry of Information and Communications) has announced the Internet Access Quality Measurement System (Speedtest), the first Internet access quality testing tool built and broadcasted. Developed exclusively for Internet users in Vietnam. Thanks to this tool, users can accurately and objectively check the quality of network services in Vietnam.

The tool is built on the infrastructure of the National Internet Traffic Exchange (VNIX), located in Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Internet Access Quality Measurement System (Speedtest) has a very simple and quick to use way. Users only need to access the address below, select a test point and measure their Internet connection quality.

This tool will display Internet access quality parameters including:

1. Download: Download speed from test point to user device (Mbps).
2. Upload: Upload speed from the user device to the test point (Mbps).
3. Ping: The parameter represents the access delay time from the user device to the test point (ms).
4. Jitter: The parameter shows the quality and stability of the Internet connection.

Using the results shown on this tool with parameters that the service provider is committed to, users can ensure the interests of their customers.

From the state management perspective, the competent authorities can use this system to monitor and evaluate the service quality of Internet service providers and the quality of Internet access in the region.
