Speaking at CES, CEO Brian Krzanich mentioned the biggest problem that Intel faced: security, Meltdown and Specter fix. He 'thanked them all for coming together . to overcome the newly discovered security issue, named Meltdown and Specter', and called for 'cooperation between companies'.
Brian made the promise that 'the 5-year processors will be updated 90% this week, the rest will be the end of January.' When talking about the effects of updates to machine speed, Brian repeated his previous view that depending on the task, some will be affected more. 'We also continue to work to gradually minimize the impact'.

'Until now, there is no information about the vulnerability being exploited to retrieve customer data,' he said. 'We are working tirelessly to fix'.
Specter and Meltdown appeared just a week before this milestone and Intel couldn't avoid talking about it. It is understandable that he insists on cooperation, they are not the only ones whose chips are faulty and the fix also needs the hands of many companies.
