HTC's Android 4.4.4 and Android L roadmap
HTC has just announced it will update Android L for HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 within 90 days after Google released the official version of this operating system. Recently, news source Llabtoofer posted a chart showing the software update schedule for HTC phones.
The Android 4.4.3 update, along with some future customization of Sense 6.0, has been confirmed for the HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 . But because Android 4.4.4 is also a slight update, HTC may postpone the plan to update Android 4.4.3 to transfer to Android 4.4.4 for two One models. This will take place during the July or August period.
With Android L , all smartphones in 2013 and 2014 of HTC will be updated with this version with Sense 6.x. But since the requirements of the new operating system version have not been determined, the devices are still being listed as being evaluated. HTC will continue to implement the HTC Advantage program, promising to update Android software for new HTC devices within two years after the product is released.
However, you should also note that this news is not official news and is not the final news, you can follow the official announcements about HTC updates here . But it seems that the HTC One X and HTC DROID DNA lines will be discontinued.
