Acer announced Chromebook for education

Acer has added two new models of the Chromebook C7 to the education market with some minor hardware changes to ensure the price of the device at $ 259, about 5.5 million.

New models are designed to target users who are students, teachers and education managers. According to Acer, they are designed with a combination of new features that provide enough for users to work in an educational environment.

Both new models of Chromebook C7 are equipped with 16GB SSDs and a 6-cell battery promises 6 hours of working time. The lower model is C710-2826 with 2 GB RAM, while the higher model is C710-2815 with 4 GB RAM. The boot time of these two systems is said to be 8 seconds, while the ability to boot from sleep mode seems to be immediate.

Inside, the machine is equipped with Intel Celeron 847 CPU with 2 processing cores running at 1.1 GHz, dual band 802.11 a / b / g / n. 11.6-inch LED LCD screen with CineCrystal technology for 1280x720p resolution. It integrates many video outputs, including HDMI and VGA slots, while the connection includes 3 USB ports and SD card slot. In addition, users are also equipped with Ethernet ports to connect to the Internet.

The selling price of the 2 GB version of Chromebook C7 is 259 USD, about 5.5 million VND, while the version with 4 GB RAM will be sold for 279 USD about 5.94 million VND.
