Lenovo announces Yoga 2 with 'super-big' screen
Lenovo recently upgraded their Yoga rotating screen laptop. Called Yoga 2, Lenovo's new laptop has many significant upgrades compared to the previous generation: 13-inch screen resolution up to 3200x1800 pixels.
The new model is also equipped with the latest Intel processor Haswell. The battery is rated as 9 hours.
Lenovo also complements Yoga's Intel Wireless Display technology which is a requirement that Intel is required for ultrabook. In addition, Yoga 2 is also thinner than the old generation with a thickness of only 15.5 mm (Yoga 1 is 17.1 mm thick). It is also lighter than Yoga 1 with a weight of 1.39 kg.
In addition, Yoga 2 is also supplemented with a backlit keyboard, the missing point in the early Yoga. In addition, the machine also has a number of changes such as the power button is arranged on the side instead of on the front. Lenovo also equips Yoga 2 with some software that it thinks will be useful for users when they use the device in different modes. For example, the Lenovo Picks application helps to automatically identify the mode (tablet or laptop) you are using with Yoga 2 and then display applications that may be useful to you in that mode.
In addition, the Phone Companion application will help you copy data such as text, then send this data to your phone as a text message. In addition, the device is also installed a number of other applications such as Lenovo Photo Touch (re-touch photos), Lenovo Camera Man (photo filters) and Lenovo Chef.
Yoga 2 will be sold in October with a starting price of 1100 USD . Yoga 11S version is also upgraded to Haswell chip.
